I live in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. In February 2022 I was heading to an outdoor match. It was -20º C, snowing and the match was 2 1/2 hours away. 🙁

I get to the match and my pistol would not cycle. I was not happy and thinking what the hell to do. I had a needle bottle of True Blue Gun Oil I had not used yet. So I decided to clean my competition piston of Gun Butter I had been using. After applying the True Blue, my pistol worked flawless the entire damn, cold, match. That experience proved their (True Blue) gun oil worked as they claim. It is now what I apply on all my weapons.

Giving my gun a good cleaning before my match this weekend. If you have not tried TRUE BLUE Gun Lubricants you are missing out! Really good product. Gun cleaner is 100% water soluble and biodegradable. Spray some down your barrel, set it aside to let it work while cleaning your FCU. Pull a barrel snake through it and look how great a job it does. Their oil is just as good – no change in viscosity on really cold mornings or really hot afternoons. TRUE BLUE is the way to go!

Anyone who knows me knows I don’t shill, and I don’t pull my punches when it comes to products I like or loathe. @truebluegunlube_canada handed me a bottle of True Blue, and said “try it”. Well I’ve tried it and holy fucking shit. My pistol has never run so slick.
The second picture  Instagram is somewhere between 1500-2000 rounds since last cleaning (after wiping the oil off because it was pretty oily), with me only throwing this stuff in the gun before shooting using the awesome long needle applicator. And honestly, I’m struggling to tell the difference between dirty but lubed and clean but lubed. I’ve tried a bunch of lubes in this pistol and they’ve all been varying shades of good for a few hundred rounds, the type to turn into thick messy shit inside the gun and force more regular cleaning, or did nothing to really slick up the action.
I’m completely stunned at how good this stuff is.

As far as the oil goes, I started using TRUE BLUE Gun Oil in my STI Edge as a testbed for other guns. I knew I would be shooting it a fair bit and would be running it as hard as I possibly can.  I used the TRUE BLUE Gun Oil before a match, and at the match ran a couple hundred rounds through it.  After the match I noticed that it felt slightly smoother as the oil had a chance to polymerize a bit, but the big difference was cleaning.  The carbon came off easily, even in tiny nooks and crannies, and after a quick re-oil the difference was immediately noticeable. Every aspect of the gun’s action was much smoother and I had other people work the action just to make sure I wasn’t going crazy.  Now I spend a couple minutes cleaning this gun, and my other competition guns are going to be getting the same treatment.  I keep a bottle of the Gun Oil in my range bag but have not had to use it even after my gun has been exposed to rain, dirt, and sand.  This is the only oil I have used that has by itself smoothed out the action of my firearms, and while they will naturally wear themselves in and smooth out, the TRUE BLUE Gun Oil doesn’t need thousands upon thousands of rounds to accomplish the task and over time my action has only gotten smoother. I was skeptical of the oil’s claims at first but it really does perform as expalined and advertised.

Brothers & Arms TRUE BLUE is one of the best lubricants for firearms on the market today. I am a gunsmith and avid hunter who has used a lot of different products trying to find the best lubricant for myself and my customers.

I had the opportunity to test out the TRUE BLUE Gun Oil during deer rifle season in Southern California. I also had the opportunity to use the oil while training long range shooting in Southern California and in Socorro, New Mexico.

During deer rifle season of October, 2018, we had a heavy thunderstorm that rained all through the night and into the next day. I lightly applied True Blue Gun Oil to the bolt of my Remington 700. I also applied a light layer to the rail guides of where the bolt travels. As the rain steadily came down, I had worked the bolt a few times to make sure my position was suitable and that manipulating the bolt would still work as it rained. After the first day was over, I wiped down the bolt and my rifle. Usually, firearms near the coast will rust overnight. Keeping that in mind, my rifle didn’t have any rust on the bolt and inside the area where the bolt slides. The next morning had a lot of moisture in the air. So, I applied more True Blue Gun Oil for the next day’s hunt. I had a successful day in hunting that morning. Took the first shot at my deer and with the gun oil, it was an easy manipulation of my bolt to chamber a second round for a follow up shot if needed.

On the second week of December, 2018, our sniper staff had scheduled a long range shoot with our bolt action rifles that consisted of .308’s and .300 Winchester Magnums. First day of shooting was on a hot day that reached temperatures of 75 to 80 degrees. The gun oil worked perfect as we manipulated our bolts. We each may have shot about 250 rounds or more out of our rifles. After the days shoot, all we did was wipe down the bolts and the chamber area with ease. No need to scrub. The very next day, we all shot in the rain. I applied a light coat of the gun oil on my bolt and chamber and still manage to fire about 100 rounds out of my rifle.

Our sniper staff attended a long range shooting course in Socorro, NM on the third week of December 2018. The temperatures in the morning were 25 degrees and 55 degrees during mid-day. While we were shooting, I applied a light coat of the True Blue Gun Oil to my bolt action rifle, the manipulation of the bolt was very smooth which made it feel like it was gliding on the rails as we chambered round after round. We shot 150 to 200 rounds per day during the 3 days of shooting.

With my experience of using the True Blue Gun Oil, just apply a small coat of oil on all working parts. This will allow the firearm to work reliably in wet conditions and during cold weather environments. I am very confident that this gun oil will perform very well from both extreme weather conditions.

Hi Andy,
I thought I should give you an update. I’ve been using the True Blue (Gun Oil) and Gun Grease exclusively on my Browning Citori XS Skeet gun for the last year. I’ve run around 15,000 rounds through this gun in practice and competition using mostly the Gun Grease. What I like is that the grease is easy to apply AND remove without causing a mess. When operating the gun, the grease stays where I put it and does not migrate back into the receiver where it could carry unwanted dirt and crud. When I’m done for the day, a quick wipe with a rag removes the lube before storage in the take down case. I apply new lube each time I assemble the gun to shoot it. The gun has shown no wear since using this grease, and the internal parts I lubed with True Blue (Gun Oil) continue to function flawlessly.
So far, it’s good stuff. Thanks for the samples (SS 2017).

Great meeting you (Shot Show 2017)and thank you for the ride. You did a great job presenting your products which peaked our interest. With so many different gun lubes on the market wading through the hype and hocus pocus can be a daunting task.

I have only used your products on my Glock 19 by design to afford me a baseline comparison with my other firearms and products. I have been pleased with TRUE BLUE performance. My test while rudimentary I have found to be a good indication of its potential and long term use. What I have done is clean and degrease the entire pistol then grease my rail contact points and oil the rest of the gun. I only have about 1500 rounds through it at this point and have found it to be performing very well. The plan is to not add any more lube and see how long True Blue works until I have a perceptible decrease in performance. I appreciate you taking the time to explain your products and afford me an opportunity to exercise them.

Yes I remember talking with you about your product. It has performed exceptionally well. My guys seem to like the Lubricant a lot and have even said they will be looking into buying some for their personal use.
Thank you for your time and for giving us the opportunity to evaluate your product.
